Cryptocurrency 2018 bear market, conclusions!

As the 2018 year is about to come to an end, here are few conclusions i have for you.

Of course there was a bull run at the beginning of the year, but it was a bull run fueled by ICOs and coins created to support masternodes. Coins with masternodes and ICOs gives you the chance to earn more coins or get a cheap coin without putting your hardware to mine for them. This gave to a lot of people the chance to create a coin and then run away with the money, not delivering too much.

Therefore here are few conclusions:

1. Make sure you join an ICO only after you see a working product. Otherwise the ICO team may have a fight or some other weird reason to take your money. Or no reason at all.

2. Don't invest too much in coins that are cheap, ask on twitter, bitcointalk, discord channels if the dev is still active. If it is, you can safely invest some if the dev didn't left due the bear market. There may be the case that some coins are overtaken by the community, with new devs. This is good, you can put some money into.

3. New coins apear everyday. I recomend you to invest in older coins that have an active development or developer. New coins may be created by some old dev that left a previous project. It is a quick way to make a buck.

4. Don't be tricked by some ROI (return of investment) percentage presented on some coins that supports masternodes. ROI doesn't add up the VPS cost and the coin is mostly new if the ROI is high. The dump on the market will come soon.

Invest some money now and some later, depending the market. Do not put all your eggs in one basket. If you think that a coin it is too pricey, it probably is.

After all, the safest investment is Bitcoin, even it dropped quite a lot.
